The Alumni Makerspace Works HPL Table offers a variety of uses for both students and teachers. Alumni?s Makerspace Works Tables are husky & sturdy & mobile & the best foundation for any project. The multiple combinations that are offered have been created to meet the needs of a 21st Century classroom.

This amazing sandbox uses 3D visualization applications and a hands-on exhibit combining a real sandbox, virtual topography and water created using a closed loop of a Microsoft Kinect 3D camera, powerful simulation and a Linux computer and data projector. The resulting (AR) sandbox allows users to create topography models by shaping real sand, which is then augmented in real time by an elevation color map, topographic contour lines, and simulated water and lava. The system teaches geographic, geologic, and hydro-logic concepts such as how to read a topography map, the meaning of contour lines, watersheds, catchment areas, levees, and much more. It can be used to teach history and explain complex geopolitical concepts as well as use for special needs children. The software was designed by a team of scientists at UC-Davis.* The sandbox comes complete with the box, camera, projector, wire management, and laptop with instructions to load the visualization software. The sandbox is made of solid oak and oak plywood and moves on heavy-duty locking casters. A wire management system keeps the cords from interfering with box. There is a handy shelf to hold the laptop while in use, which folds away with a collapsible hinge. Note: Sand not included (we recommend 250 lbs of Sandastik® sparkling white play sand). It is finished with a chemical resistant, earth-friendly UV finish. The top is 1" black high pressure laminate. The top also has two grommet holes for threading power cords. The pedestals have 2 file drawers, four smaller drawers and one center pencil drawer. All the drawers lock, except the pencil drawer. The knee space provided is 26"W.

18 gauge T-430 stainless steel drain board attaches to the budget compartment sinks. The drain boards come with self tapping screws and are easy to attach and detach.

This sink is the complete package. It comes complete with a lead free splash mount mixing faucet. The sink includes the mounting bracket and drain. The drain measures 1-7/8". Made of T-304 Stainless Steel. NSF Approved.

Need hot water, but there is no plumbing close? This hot water stations provides the ability to move to any location and still have access to hot water. The oak veneer cabinet features a water heater and water pump providing you with a hot or cold water. Water tanks: 5 gallon fresh water tank and 6 gallon waste water tank. We recommend starting with room temperature water in the fresh water tank to get the maximum use of the water heater. The mobile sink has a stainless steel sink, a hot and cold water mixing faucet and a duplex outlet. It comes with an extension cord and has an outlet. Water heats up to 10 to 15 degrees warmer than the fresh tank temperature. Unit rolls easily on 4" locking swivel casters.

The perfect way to learn how plants can grow without soil and helps teach the basic concepts for the plants needs, nutrition, food production, recycling, agricultural technology and soil-less growing environments. This mobile hydroponics center includes grow lights and water pump. The adjustable timers enable you to grow your plants with the perfect amount of water and sunlight. The construction allows easy access for students and teachers alike. The Hydroponics Center is made of solid maple and maple veneers. The containment plant tray is 8"H x 27-1/2"D x 42"W. There is a 25 gallon nutrient reservoir with lid, a locked cabinet for timers and air pump, and a 150 watt grow light.
