Book Compartment Tables are built with the same quality techniques as the plain apron table. They are finished with a chemical resistant, earth-friendly UV finish. These tables have either two or four book compartments (depending on size) installed in the apron. The book compartments measure 14" W x 13-5/8"D x 3-7/8"H. The table has a weight capacity of 500 lbs. On tables 72"W or over, we recommend ordering with leg braces and stretchers. (Shipped KD with tops attached)

Available in a variety of sizes, with several different top materials. Constructed of solid maple and finished with an earth-friendly UV finish. Aprons are constructed of solid maple and are 13/16"D x 4-1/2"H with heavy-duty 13-gauge steel corner braces. The unit has solid 2-1/4" maple legs with 5/16" hanger bolt installed, and are attached to the table with nuts and washers (supplied). All tables include leg boots and levelers. This work center can be used against a wall or as an island. The unit includes two base cabinets made of plywood and solid hardwoods finished in an earth-friendly UV finish. One locking base cabinet provides a place for storing larger items and includes one adjustable shelf. The other cabinet has three dovetailed drawers which lock. Also included with this model is our mobile clay cart (see C-38), which fits nicely between the two cabinets. The center is completed with a 1-1/4" almond colored plastic laminate top.
