Users are supported by a heavy-duty, 16-gauge steel, black powder-coated frame. The premium 3/4" thick plywood deck is durable and features a firmly-affixed carpeted surface. Legs are constructed with 14-gauge steel tubing and feature simple and safe spring-loaded locking mechanisms allowing for quick set-up assembly and folds up easily for manageable portable storage. The stage offers a secure weight capacity of over 200 lbs. per square foot. High-impact plastic glides will ensure floors are protected from damage. Aprons are constructed of solid maple and are 13/16"D x 4-1/2"H with heavy-duty 13-gauge steel corner braces. The unit has solid 2-1/4" maple legs with 5/16" hanger bolt installed, and are attached to the table with nuts and washers (supplied). All tables include leg boots and levelers. The NPS PSLT-AH Height Adjustable Science Lab Tables have "perfect chemistry" with any science classroom. These paragons of endurance are built with a choice of stylistic light oak woodgrain, or striking textured black legs beneath a phenolic resin tabletop with a matte finish. The work surface is crack-resistant and can be modified using carbide-tipped tools. It is impervious to extreme cold, heat up to 275° F as well as damage from virtually any chemical, acid or possibly corrosive substance that may be found in a laboratory setting. Robust legs are 2 3/8” diameter, and adjust smoothly in ¾” increments from 29”-41”. Legs automatically lock at your height setting to conveniently accommodate all seating requirements. Easily assemble the PSLT-AH thanks to pre-drilled pilot holes. Feet are outfitted with oversized glides, or optional casters. The PSLT-AH meets MAS Certified Green environmental industrial standards. Optional Book Compartment models come with two storage compartments concealable with the included side-panel aprons.
